Part of Invacare’s Essential mattress range, the Essential Basic mattress is a practical and affordable choice for day-to-day care needs. Designed for users at low risk of pressure ulcers, it features high-quality foam that provides comfort and support in a slim, 150 mm profile.

The mattress is encased in a durable polyurethane cover that is both waterproof and vapour-resistant, with a second protective layer to guard against liquid ingress. Its anti-friction properties help protect the user’s skin, while the cover’s three-sided zip makes it easy to inspect and remove for cleaning.

Withstanding hot washes up to 95°C, the Essential Basic is easy to sanitise and maintain in demanding care environments. It is available in one standard size and backed by a one-year warranty.
