The FloorBed 1 Plus was the first nursing bed of its kind to offer true floor-level positioning, lowering as low as 78mm (7.8cm) from the ground to drastically reduce the risk of injury from bed falls. This advanced profiling bed is particularly well suited for larger or more vulnerable service users, combining safety with independent movement and carer-friendly functionality.
Raising to a maximum height of 650mm (65cm), the bed allows for ergonomic caregiving. A 200mm (20cm) bed extension kit is also available for taller users. The handset is accessible from either side of the bed and features integrated lockout and auto-safety stop functions to safeguard against accidental operation.
Comprehensive profiling features include auto-regressing backrest, kneebreak, and Trendelenburg/Anti-Trendelenburg tilt to 15°, supporting both clinical care and user comfort.
