As you will be more than aware, the UK is facing an unprecedented challenge due to the impact of the COVID-
The health, safety and well being of our customers and employees is our utmost priority and in response to the rapidly changing situation Moreable is following the latest UK Government advice to keep safe and minimise risks. I would therefore like to update you on how we are adjusting to the current situation as a business.
HSE guidance still states all safety checks (LOLER) must be kept up to date, any equipment that has an expired certificate must not be used.
We recognise that many of our customers may be part of the more vulnerable groups for Covid-
We therefore propose the following:
Our office and phones will continue to be manned as usual unless there is a change in Government policy. Should the Government advice change regarding isolation we will be making arrangements for our office-
We appreciate that this is an extremely difficult situation and we will continue to strive to balance the safeguarding of our employees that work in the community whilst providing essential services such as assessments, reviews and repairs, with extra measures in place to protect you and those whom we come into contact with. Where assessments, reviews and repairs continue, we will use alcohol wipes, face masks and hand sanitizer (where available) Equipment will be disinfected as much as possible using alcohol wipes. As these services are key to our end users, they will for the time being continue, we do however reserve the right to not attend should the situation or environment not be deemed safe.
All our employees have been provided with practical health advice to reduce the risk of spreading any infection as recommended in the Government guidelines, with compulsory hand washing before and after each appointment now in place.
Any employee who has been exposed to the virus or displays the symptoms associated with Covid-
Any customer who is known to have the Virus or displaying symptoms must inform Moreable before we are due to visit, an assessment will be made to ascertain if the visit can still go ahead
Where a customer needs to cancel an appointment, we recommend that these are rebooked ASAP, as there will be an increased demand on our service, once restrictions have eased, and you will have already booked an appointment.
The situation is constantly evolving and we will therefore provide you with additional updates accordingly.
